Think.Prevent.Live is a public information campaign with one simple goal – to reduce the number of child deaths that could have been prevented. Learn about the common causes of avoidable child deaths and what you can do help keep our children safe.
Hot Car Danger

A mother leaves her child locked in a car on a warm summer day while she runs into the store for just a few minutes. A father who does not routinely take his child to day care gets distracted and drives to work, leaving his child strapped in a hot, locked car all day. A child playing unattended in an unlocked car gets stuck in the trunk, and hours go by before anyone notices he is missing. Sadly, these scenarios are real and have led to child deaths. All were avoidable.
